Easy Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

November 20, 2014 by Classystaff

I love chocolate. I can eat it in pretty much any shape or form. When the holidays come around, fudge is an all time favorite for me. I am not one to make it very often because a minute on my lips is forever on my hips, but once in a while, I treat myself and give away as much as I can!

Fudge is often made with chocolate and I was always happy with that, until I tasted peanut butter fudge. OMG it is good. So I had to find an easy recipe to make when I needed a fix and this is the one and I can add in some chocolate too. Reese’s anyone?

Easy Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe
Recipe Type: Dessert
Cuisine: Candy
Author: Two Classy Chics
Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 5 mins
Total time: 10 mins
Serves: 24 pcs
Easy to make recipe in the microwave or on the stovetop
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter, not homemade or all natural
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4 cups Confectioners Sugar, sifted
  • Optional: 1/2 to 3/4 cup add-ins – chocolate chips, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or anything you like
Instructions
  1. Line a 8-inch or 9-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, leaving excess to pull the fudge out of the pan
  2. Microwave directions –
  3. Melt the peanut butter and butter together in a large bowl. Stop and stir the mixture every 30 seconds to one minute, making sure it is completely melted and combined well.
  4. Stir in the vanilla
  5. Add the sifted confectioners sugar and stir until completely combined.
  6. The mixture will be thick and looks a lot like cookie dough. If using any add-ins, fold them in while the fudge is still warm,.
  7. Press the fudge into the baking pan, smoothing the top.
  8. Chill for at least 4 hours or until firm. Cut into pieces and enjoy.
  9. For Stovetop:
  10. Slowly melt the butter and peanut butter together. Do not boil
  11. Add in the vanilla, stir to combine
  12. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and any add-ins.
  13. Follow the rest of the directions for cooling

You’ve posted several fudge recipes over the years, but this one is by far the easiest. I’ll keep this simple Peanut Butter Fudge recipe in mind if I need a gift in a hurry, since I’m likely to always have the ingredients on hand. Thanks!
