Outdoor Doormat Made from Wood

When you walk into a home one of the first things you see is the doormat, so I feel it’s a very important home decorating accessory that every home should have. Your doormat should reflect your personality or your home’s personality and decor. The mat should be beautiful, practical, functional and be affordable.

Today I get to introduce to you a wonderful company called Entryways who is an Imports Unlimited Company. This company is your one-stop shop when it comes to finding and purchasing beautiful doormats for your home. I love their vast selection of prints, colors, shapes and sizes that their doormats come in. Matter of fact, I own several of their mats and just love them!

Recently we were sent the Douglas Exotic Wood Mat in Brown to review for all of you. Overall it measures 18″ by 30″ in size. This particular doormat can be used indoors or outdoors and I love that! It is handcrafted in Indonesia from carefully selected exotic woods (made from Rubberwood).

It is a fabulous door mat for those of you who like the zen, rustic or beach/cabin look (like me). It is eco-friendly and weather-proof to last for many years. I think it is handsome looking and just perfect!!!

Right now we are using it up here at our main home but when we go down to our beach house this winter…I am going to take it with us as I think it is perfect for that. I hate regular doormats down there that do nothing but make a mess with sand. This one is ideal for that!

I wanted to show you its beauty both indoors and outdoors and I think my photographs reflect that.  Doesn’t it look handsome on our natural hardwood floor? Looks just as beautiful outside on our front porch too!  It is a real quality piece that you will feel proud to own or buy one to give as a holiday gift.

    So many beautiful mats in their listings. While I love the seasonal ones, it truly becomes a storage issue which explains why the Blue Floral Non Slip Coir Doormat caught my eye.
