Am I the only on that thinks the sales have gone crazy? This weekend is the big ticket when it comes to holiday shopping. With Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday all falling together, there is so many sales on everywhere you turn, you cannot help but score awesome deals! The one thing that does bother me is the Thanksgiving day sales. While it is the consumers right to shop if they choose, I think it is terrible that the people have to work. Keeping the holiday special is getting tougher when chasing a deal becomes part of the family activity. But I guess to each his own.
Are you a big Black Friday shopper? What was the best deal that you got this weekend? Do you go out, wait in lines and shop or stick to the internet? Share with us your hot savings and tips for scoring the big savings!
Hope your Thanksgiving was awesome!

I gave up on going out on Black Friday after getting burned a few years ago; I got up early and went to several stores but they were all sold out of the things I wanted within a short time of their opening. Not fun at all, and not worth the crowds. Cyber Monday is more interesting to me these days, so I’ll see what’s available.
Amazon had a good deal over the weekend, though, with a code for 30% off one print book. My spouse was very sweet and got a book for me that’s been on my wish list, and I’m looking forward to that.
I did go out on Thanksgiving at the 6pm sale at WalMart. Our TV had went out and we got a TV there at the sales. It has to be shipped because we got the one hour guarantee, but thats all we were there for and we left and went home. Earlier we served dinner at the church for a community dinner and that was really nice. We didnt go out Friday.
No Black Friday frenzy for me. I had a lovely second Thanksgiving dinner with friends. I agree about workers not getting Thanksgiving off for the purpose of money-grubbing retailers.
I do not go out on Black Friday. It is not worth the danger, especially when there are so many sales online. I rather spend the time with family as I have done.
No, I stopped all that nonsense when they had such violent shopping scenes a few years ago. I have a free $10 coupon I want to use tomorrow though, so hopefully people will be resting between Friday and Monday and let me shop safely. I know the item I want and it has to be purchased in store (boring office supplies but great savings). Hope others scored some deals.
Success! If anyone is needing Bankers Boxes, they are on sale starting today at Staples (see weekly ad). Even without the coupon I had, $15 for 13 boxes is a good deal. A nice bonus was a free car wash from Mother Nature, since it’s raining today. Also no lines, no waiting–gotta love that.
