BerryBreeze Fridge Freshener Helps Stretch the Food Budget

November 16, 2014 by Classystaff

I cannot tell you how much money I have thrown away, literally. Produce just does not seem to last as long as we think it should. I wish I could shop daily for the freshest choices, but that is not realistic. I was asked to check out this cool new refrigerator freshener that can help with food spoilage and waste and I knew I had to try it.

BerryBreeze is a small unit that you place in your fridge. It uses activated oxygen to clean and reinvigorate the fruits, vegetables, and foods in your fridge which helps to extend the life and freshness while preserving the nutritional benefits. Sounds like just what I need!
BerryBreeze Fridge Freshener
BerryBreeze is scientifically proven to…

–Put an end to the premature aging of fruits, veggies, and meats
–Naturally kill odors
–Naturally kill molds, yeasts and fungi known to spoil foods
–Neutralize bacteria and other harmful microbes
–Keep us healthier by maintaining food’s freshness and nutritional value
–Save an estimated $2,200 per year per household by avoiding spoilage of food in the fridge. (“National Resources Defense Council” August 2012)

Unlike products claiming similar benefits, BerryBreeze is a chemical-free, filter-free, and absorption pack-free solution. BerryBreeze’s patented time release of oxygen neutralizes bacteria and mold, eliminates pollutants, and keeps foods fresh for up to ten days longer.

This unit runs by 4 D size batteries. I placed it in my fridge on grocery day when I knew there was a lot of different foods and competing smells. The unit is easy to use and it blinks with a green light to show that it is still working. After just a few hours, the smells in the fridge were lessened greatly. By the time it had been in there a few days, there wasn’t any dominant smell at all.

With the holidays coming up, I think we all end up with a ton of food in our fridge that needs to last. Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts means delicious menus and recipes of all of our favorites and I cannot wait! But who wants deviled eggs that tastes like last nights dinner? Using something like the BerryBreeze will keep the food scents cleaned out of the fridge and not crossing into another food.

I think the BerryBreeze is a winner. It has been helping to keep my foods and fridge fresher longer. Plus, my veggies have been lasting longer and that makes me very happy!

Wow! I’m amazed and very interested. I’ve heard of containers to help stretch out fruit and produce but nothing like this. My daughter loves fresh fruit and vegetables, but it gets expensive and often starts getting bad way before we are ready. How wonderful to make them last longer.

It is such a good idea to help stop food wastage. I hate having to throw out food so this sounds like a wonderful addition to my fridge.

This is the first time I have heard of this fridge freshener. It sounds perfect for me and I would love to get rid of many refrigerator odors without chemicals and help preserve my foods too.

This is the first I’ve ever heard of Berry Breeze! I’d love to have it, and I think it would be a great gift for shut ins and many others who really can’t shop as often as they would otherwise. It can be a real money saver.

Never heard of this before. Since I live alone I have a hard time keeping fresh foods around. Thanks for the review.
