Aye Aye Matey – Baltimore Inner Harbor

November 11, 2014 by Shelly

Pirate Boat in Baltimore Inner Harbor MarylandBack in August my husband and I took a little trip down to Baltimore Inner Harbor and spent several days exploring the city. One of our favorite things to do when we visit Baltimore is to hang out on the water front – Inner Harbor.

That is where you can find some great restaurants, shopping, Ripley’s Believe it or Not and other area attractions. There is a lot to see and do while visiting there!

On one particular day we went out in the water on some cool paddle boats. While we were out there we saw all kinds of cool boats, ships and yachts. For instance, check out this very cool Pirate Ship that we saw!!!

You can buy tickets and take a cruise around Inner Harbor on that ship which I think would be a lot of fun to do! The passengers seemed to be having a good old time out there on the deck!

Anyway, it you are ever heading down to Baltimore you definitely want to hangout on the waterfront. Well, there you have it. Another “Almost” Wordless Wednesday post for this week. Enjoy!

I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere near Baltimore, but if I am, I would love to visit this area! My dad like to build very complicated model ships, and it would be fun to see the boats!

I live on a small bay in Maine, and I can see the town wharf from my window. Although no boats moor at the wharf, a few lobster boats and a dragger use it for loading and offloading their traps or bags of mussels. There’s something very calming about watching the boats. I’ve never been to Baltimore, but from your photo, I think I would like to visit that harbor with its many varied types of boats. Thanks for sharing your picture.

I have never had the pleasure of visiting Baltimore and I would love to go there and be on the water as well as see all the different ships.

If you have never had the pleasure of visiting Baltimore Inner Harbor…I highly recommend that you add it to your bucket list. We found hundreds of different things to see and do while there. Many were super affordable too. Next time around we are going to visit in the late Spring.

I’m actually planning a weekend trip there! What hotel did you stay at?

It looks fun and really seeing all the boats would be relaxing. I think one of the cruises or paddleboats would also be a lot of fun.
