I never know what to make (or help make) for dinner. My family loves home cooked meals, and tries to avoid fast food. Some days we succumb to it, because it is easier to just not have to cook. It’s important to my family and me that what we put into our food is chemical free. So when I received the opportunity to review some products from Simply Organic, I was thrilled. Simply Organic provided me with some southwest seasonings and some Italian sauces. (They are my favorite types of food!)
In the Southwest Selection, I received the Chicken Mole Sauce, Enchilada Sauce, and the Southwest Taco seasoning. My favorite Mexican food is Chicken mole, and I had to see if I was to love this dish. I used the simple directions on the back of the packet to create it. The Chicken Mole Sauce mixes with only water, and after it’s finished boiling, and cools down, it becomes a thicker sauce. The recommended way was to put it on a chicken breast, but I decided to shred the chicken for easier bites. Also, so the sauce could cover all the chicken instead of mostly the plate. The chicken mole was good, very different from my mother’s recipe. It was the original sweet mole, I could taste the hint of chocolate with the cinnamon inside. My mother’s is mostly spicy. It was great to be able to try something different.
In the Italian Selection, I received the Tomato Basil Spaghetti Sauce, Sweet Basil Pesto Sauce, Roasted Garlic Spaghetti Sauce, and the Alfredo Sauce. I decided to create my favorite dish which is the simple Fettuccine Alfredo. I used the simple directions on the packet to create this delicious dish. All I needed to make this sauce was:
1 ¼ cup skim milk
1 ½ tablespoons butter
8oz (½ lb) fettuccine pasta
¼ grated Parmesan cheese
The Fettuccine Alfredo came out delicious. After putting the sauce on the noodles, I added some more Parmesan to make it even cheesier. The Alfredo Sauce was cheesy, rich, and simply tasty. The sauce includes organic garlic and nutmeg. I loved this dish and cannot wait to make it again.

I never knew that they had organic sauce mixes. I would really like to try theses. I usually use Lawrys Brand..But organic is better for you. Thankyou for this Useful Information. The Name is so easy to remember. Simply Organic..
