** 2014 Holiday Gift Guide **

When I was about 16 or 17 years old I was introduced to the classic Scrabble word game and have been hooked on that game ever since! Matter of fact, Scrabble is what started my addiction for various word games that I have played over the years.

Once I became a mother and had a child old enough to play Scrabble, we bought our daughter the Scrabble Jr. game and played that as a family for many years. I contribute that game for teaching our daughter how to spell and I have to admit, she is a great speller now that she is an adult.

Even though we don’t have little ones here full-time, we still get together often as a family for Family Game Night! We order pizza, wings and serve snacks and have a lot of fun bonding together as a family.

Recently we received the new Scrabble Electronic Scoring Game to review for all of you and it is absolutely fantastic! Gone are the days of looking for paper & pencil to keep score. Gone are the days of adding up those scores to determine a winner. Scrabble…just became a whole lot better!

This game is for ages 8 and up and for 2-4 players. It comes with your game board, wooden tile letters, a storage bag for the letters, the electronic score keeper, 4 tile racks and a game guide.

The four of us sat down to play this version of Scrabble which we had never played before. It was so easy to keep track of everyone’s score and the handy Scrabble dictionary that they sent along helped us along the way. Frankly, now that we have this version, we will donate our classic Scrabble game to charity as we LOVE this electronic scoring game!

Hasbro has been making quality games for many years and we happen to own many of them since we are big gamers here in this household. With the holidays quickly coming up, I would like to suggest this game for all of your “gaming” gift-giving needs.

    My daughter and I love to play scrabble. Especially now that she’s older it’s a really fun game. It would be nice to have electronic scoring. I’ve never heard of this product before.

    I LOVE scrabble … Im a word game addict… I like monopoly too but I get some wierd Monopoly RAGE so i don’t play that much

    My favorite game would have to be LIFE. My husband and my family have no idea why I love it so much but it just takes me back to my childhood. I absolutely love it.

    I DO love Scrabble.. but NOT when my sister plays me, SHE ALWAYS wins. You cannot beat her! So there is no point. The kids here love Sorry! And they are learning Parcheesi now too.
