Movie Review: Sons of Liberty on DVD

Sons of Liberty Movie on DVDHow many of you enjoy watching military action flicks? Personally, it is my favorite genre of movies! I could sit all day long watching men in uniform run around with guns and doing battle. I just love it and the more action…the better!

Well, you are in-luck because today there is a brand new movie DVD release called “Sons of Liberty” starring Tamer Hassan, Keith David, Elyese Levesque, Neil Dickson, Mark Sheppard, Adam Cardon and Catalina Soto-Aguilar.

It’s a deadly race against the clock to stop a merciless cadre of mercenaries in Sons of Liberty, released on DVD October 7th, 2014 from Inception Media Group.

Synopsis: A special operations unit comprised of elite soldiers and scientists known as the Sons of Liberty (SOL) is tasked with tracking and preventing a radical group of mercenaries from constructing a potentially devastating doomsday device.

The Sons of Liberty (SOL) must race to develop a strategy to locate incoming stolen nuclear materials without alerting the enemy, whose political beliefs blur the lines between terrorist and revolutionary, making them a volatile target with nothing to lose.

My thoughts: Wow…this movie is jam-packed with action from start to finish and it has a really compelling story line. I love seeing how all of these characters relate with one another and how they work together as a team to combat these so-called terrorists.

There are many twists and turns throughout the story line and it is extremely well-written and well-acted in my opinion. It keeps you glued to your seat…waiting to see what happens next which always makes for a great action flick!

Do they get the bad guys? Does the bomb go off? Do they succeed in their mission? Well, I am not going to tell you that as that would be a spoiler and I don’t spoil movie endings…EVER. I will tell you this, if you love action movies and/or military flicks, this is one DVD you need to pick up and add to your collection today.

    I love watching ALL movies! With hubs I watch horror and historical movies, with my daughter I love to watch comedy and family movies and when its just me, I usually catch up on romcom and documentaries.

    I like action movies and comedy movies. When a movie always has something happening or can make me laugh then I consider it a good movie 🙂

    My favorite genre is horror, but I also love documentaries and suspense thrillers. AND, I love old black and white films (film noir). I enjoy watching any movie that is done well with a great story and the right actors/actresses cast.

    You got me at military action. I especially like the WW II era with the aviation scenes. Big 12 O’clock High fan. This looks good.

    I like a lot of different movies but suspense have always interested me. I like a good thriller/mystery with a bit of scare and intrigue. A good plot and writing are so important in a movie.
