Hot Tubs Can Help You Feel Better

October 31, 2014 by Shelly

hydropool hot tubsMany people enjoy spending time in a hot tub with friends and family members, and they know it is a great way to relax. Some people have come to realize the hot tub is also an effective way to relieve the discomfort of stiff and sore muscles as the comfortably hot water increases circulation and reduces inflammation. In addition, soaking in their own hot tub at home can help wash away some of the stress people feel at the end of the day.

Nearly everyone knows how pleasurable it can be to spend time relaxing in a hot tub, but most do not realize certain manufacturers include a swim current option. A swim current provides the perfect place for an everyday athlete to develop the perfect stroke technique by adjusting the current speed. Parents also appreciate their ability to safely teach their child to swim in an easily controlled water environment.

Most people would choose to install a hot tub at home, but they may be worried about the time and effort it will take to properly maintain it. Hydropool Hottubs is one of the hot tub manufacturers that have developed self-cleaning technology through an advanced filtration system. Strategically placed jets work to move any floating debris to the surface where a high flow skimmer quickly eliminates it. An advanced micro filtration system effectively traps body oils and water care products, and vacuuming the hot tubs is not necessary since dirt and other heavy contaminants are completely removed.

Installing a hot tub is a considerable investment, so it is important to choose a unit that is ergonomically designed to be comfortable, simple to maintain and energy efficient. So far as comfort goes, correct placement of the massage jets, ergonomically designed seating, ample foot room and soft pillow to support the head and neck are important features. Units that feature a thermal shield blanket that is well insulated are equipped to handle even the sub-zero temperatures of a Canadian winter. Ultimate energy efficiency can be maintained when a heavy duty hardcover includes an insulated baffle to lock out the cold and keep the heat in.

I wish that we could afford to install a hot tub. I know that I would love to relax in it. I hadn’t realized that they can now include swim stream options.

I LOVE hot tubs – they really do soothe achy muscles and the heat is incredibly therapuetic. Whenever we stay at a hotel, I am thrilled with a jacuzzi tub is included.
