I love spicy foods, but not too spicy. I do enjoy breathing so I am more of a medium spice girl. My hubby is the complete opposite. If he tastes a bit of hot pepper, it is too hot for him. So I like to make salsa with some flexibility in the heat levels and this recipe is one that can be played around with so it does not get too hot. Hot Sauce Recipe with Sun Dried Tomato

Homemade Hot Sauce Recipe with Sun Dried Tomato

2 jars of Sun Dried Tomatoes in oil
1 medium Carrot
1/2 medium Onion
1 Jalepeno – cleaned and stemmed
2 Cloves Garlic
pinch of Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Cider Vinegar
1/2 Cup of Water
1/2 bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped

Clean and cut the carrot into small pieces, place in a food processor and chop until fine. Add garlic, onion, and pepper and chop until finely grated. Place the tomatoes with oil in the processor and blend. Finally, add the rest of the ingredients and blend all of it together. Taste and then slowly add water to the mix to reach the desired consistency, if necessary.
