I love spicy foods, but not too spicy. I do enjoy breathing so I am more of a medium spice girl. My hubby is the complete opposite. If he tastes a bit of hot pepper, it is too hot for him. So I like to make salsa with some flexibility in the heat levels and this recipe is one that can be played around with so it does not get too hot. I like that you get a lot of balance from the sun dried tomatoes as well as amazing flavor! It whips up in a flash in the food processor and

(Homemade Hot Sauce Recipe with Sun Dried Tomato) I am going to make this for my one brother, he likes trying all sorts of hot sauces and salsa’s too. If it’s too hot it doesn’t get along with my tummy-
This sounds like a good recipe to try for any one who like hot sauces. I love the idea of using the sun dried tomatoes in oil in the recipe. I just wonder if the ingredients might meld better together if they carrots, onion and garlic are sauteed first.
I love spicy food as well, and I like that you use sun dried tomatoes in your sauce. I can’t wait o give this a try. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
Sounds like my household. My husband hears pepper and and it better be talking about salt and pepper. He doesn’t do any type of heat. My daughter and I like hot…we eat salsa daily and love added peppers to our food or eating plain. I had never thought about sun dried tomatoes in a hot salsa. Sounds interesting, and I love that you can change the heat levels.
I love spicy too but have reflux issues now and then. This would be good to try especially with the carrot and vinegar–love them.
