One of the things I love about the Fall season (other than the cooler temperatures) is all of the fun family-friendly Fall and Halloween festivities! For the past 2 weeks my family has been very busy enjoy many activities here around the state. So far, here is what we have done. We have visited:
* 3 corn mazes
* 2 haunted houses
* 2 Halloween and fall outdoor attractions
* 4 different pick-your-own pumpkin patches
* apple festival
* apple picking at a local orchard
* fall craft day at a local craft store
* a regular family hayride
* a haunted hayride
* a breakfast for kids with a scarecrow event
plus…we got a few other activities on our agenda…like watching the city’s local Halloween parade!
So, what kind of Fall and/or Halloween activities do you and your family like to enjoy? Have you done anything special so far for the season? What is your favorite thing about the Fall season?
When my husband is feeling better we might go apple or pumpkin picking. We love walking through the woods and looking at the fall foliage. I’d like to try one of the mazes too.

Wow you guys have been busy sounds like a lot of fun. I have not done anything fun like this I need to get busy before the weather changes too much.
We will be going to a pumpking carving party and we are also going to carve 5 more pumpkins to make a pumpking totem pole.
Congratulations winners. You are right so many fun, family things to do in fall. From corn mazes to apple picking. Hayrides are ghost tours are also great this time of year. Grab some warm apple cider and an apple fritter and it can be a great evening. We used to go apple picking every year when we had an apple orchard nearby. Great memories and bonding!
