Aura Cacia: Essential Oil Products for Skin Care and Aromatherapy

All of the five senses are important (sight, touch, taste, hearing, smell), but there is just something delightful about smell. How it make you remember a fond memory, or an unpleasant one (for those foul stinks). How a smell can make you feel—like a perfume/cologne can make you have desire for an person, a familiar scent can make you calm and relaxed, like the smell of coffee can make you alert for a quick pick-me-up. I believe aromatherapy can help people achieve a form of relaxation. I was so happy to have received many different products from Aura Cacia for review.

I was sent three skin care products: The Organic Soothing Tamanu Facial Oil Serum, the Organic Nurturing Sweet Almond Skin Care Oil, and the Organic Restoring Rosehip Oil.

The Facial Oil Serum has a blend of 100% Pure Botanicals, it has Tamanu, Lavender, and Tea Tree. After I used it on my face, I felt my skin was softer within hours, I noticed it calmed any irritation on my face.

I started using the Nurturing Sweet Almond Oil as part of my routine after the shower. It kept my skin soft and moisturized throughout the day. I loved the smell of the almond, it lasted almost the entire day.

The Restoring Rosehip Oil provides similar results; my skin is moisturized, less irritated, and softer. I noticed I get more moisturizing with the Rosehip Oil on my very dry feet.

I was also sent five aromatherapy products: The Cheering Tangerine Oil, the Brightening Sweet Orange Oil, the Purifying Lemon Tea Tree Oil, the Refreshing Lime & Grapefruit Air Freshening Spritz, and the Uplifting Bergamot & Orange Electric Aromatherapy Air Freshener.

The Tangerine Oil smells so splendid. It truly did bring up the memories of my childhood. I used to go out and play in our large back yard and smell the fresh smell of the tangerine trees. I tried my hand at mediation and used this oil to help mediate after a long day of work.

I did the same with the Sweet Orange Oil, which smells good enough to eat. It brought me my childhood memories of when my parents would bring fresh bags of oranges home. With oranges being one of my favorite fruits, I loved this oil and I did use it for mediation as well as for a brightening bath.

I very much enjoyed the Purifying Lemon Tea Tree Oil. It was perfect citrus scent (my favorite type of scent) to provide me with an aromatherapy pleasure. It is ideal for air diffusion (I put a little bit on our air filter) and homemade cleaning products. The kitchen countertops smell so fresh and clean now!

Even with housecleaning, the smells of the food cooking and the people/animals passing through, the house can have some lingering smells. I loved using the Air Freshening Spritz for eliminating bad odors and it gives refreshment to stale air. They were citrusy smells: Lime and Grapefruit. I loved using this for the living room, with all the people traffic and since it’s where my dog and cat hang out. Since it is all natural, I don’t have to worry about the spray doing any harm to them!

One of my favorite products sent to me was the Uplifting Bergamot & Orange Electric Aromatherapy Air Freshener. Of course, it is also made with 100% pure essential oils. It gives a longer-lasting subtle background aroma, in a delicious citrus scent.

Aura Cacia products are tested and verified for purity. They are also not tested on animals, which I’m very glad to know. Aura Cacia also donates one percent of their organic products sales to organic farmers and communities that produce their organic ingredients. I appreciate to know that they support the idea of health in what we use for ourselves and our families. Now that I have tried these products for aromatherapy, I truly believe aromatherapy is good for a person’s well being. I have loved using the Aura Cacia products and know that I will continue to use their products.
