Almay Smart Shade Skintone Matching Makeup for the Perfect Shade
I have a pretty difficult skin tone to match. It is one of the hardest things about doing my makeup. I have the Swedish olive skin color that tans in a flash. I run between a medium and neutral tone with a splash of golden highlights. It is tough to find just the right color, trust me. So when I was asked to review a new color matching makeup, I was excited to check it out.

The product comes in a tube and is available in 3 different shades. I was sent the Light/ Medium color and would definitely need the medium during high summer. I was intrigued by the unique look of the product and as kind of nervous about applying a product that looked almost white. But try it I did. It was actually really amazing to watch the foundation go from white to a light tan color on my face! It was pretty cool.
The foundation is relatively light but the coverage is great. While the color seemed a bit light for me to be wearing alone, I have been using it as a primer of sorts. The application is great and it wears wonderfully. I love how it blends in so easily with your skin tone.
This is the first time I have tried an Almay product, I think, and I really like it. I am impressed with the wear and the color changing technology. I like that it gives good coverage for a light foundation. And the SPF doesn’t hurt either! I think this is a winner!
