Todds Original Salsa Is a Tasty Treat Anytime

September 5, 2014 by Classystaff

Todds Original Salsa

I just can’t get enough salsa. As a true woman of Latino origin, I pour it into almost all my foods. (okay, definitely not ice cream! Hmm… No, only kidding.) But in all seriousness, I do put it in my tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and in many ways for dip, whether it be many layers or just salsa ‘neat’. I was ecstatic to have been able to review several samples of Todd’s Original Homemade Salsa.

I received three types: Mild, Medium, and Hot. They were all delicious! Savory, and oddly, but very tastefully, each had a little sweetness. The Mild was good, especially for my friends who couldn’t handle spice. It’s great for kids too, to get used to adding chile to their food. I like that it was smooth, great to add to recipes for enchilada, guacamole, or other sauces. The Medium was a kind of chunky type, which is good for the chips and dip, and the putting on all kinds of food. The Hot wasn’t hot to me, but did have a nice kick to it. It is fairly smooth, and it’s great for the braver salsa crowd.

I made my day start a little spicy and made a ‘southwestern’ type of breakfast burrito. All I did was just mix in the Medium salsa with my scrambled eggs, some cheese, and slices of ham, and wrap it all in a flour tortilla. Yumm.

Todd’s Original Homemade Salsa is fresh, and made of real ingredients… those most people actually know of, those people can actually pronounce! They’re all gluten-free, with all-natural ingredients. I got so much, each are 16oz glass jars, and my favorite thing about their design was the gauge that warns you about the amount of salsa left, and when to get some more! The salsa is made in the USA, in the state of Maine. There are even many locations in Maine to be able to buy this salsa immediately, and a couple in Massachusetts. For everyone else, it’s available online!

Todd’s Original Homemade Salsa is fantastic for livening up any bland foods that need a little flavor upgrade. It’s a perfect addition for barbeques, holidays, and other special events. Salsa is so versatile it can be used as an appetizer or within your main dish. Whether it’s Mild, Medium, or Hot you can handle.
