We have been hosting a lot of summertime parties and events here at our home. One of the things I like to make when we are hosting a get-together is some homemade salsa.
I like to use the following recipe as I can tailor it to our taste buds. I can add-in addition chile peppers to make it spicier or additional sugar if I want it sweeter. Furthermore, I can toss in some chopped fruit, whatever I have on hand (usually pineapple or mangoes).

‘ll make 2 versions -. one with each.
This sounds pretty good to me! I wonder if my tummy could take the spice!
(Sweet and Spicy Chile Pepper Salsa Recipe) This one sounds really yummy to make for some of our football games we’ll be watching on TV-
The mangoes sound good. Tomatoes are on sale this week so I’ll be making salsa for sure. Can you believe I bought onions today at 7 pounds for a dollar?!I have tons but eat almost one a day…really! They’ll be gone in no time with just me eating them.
What a nice, simple recipe, but with layers of flavor. And I love the idea of adding pineapple. Thanks for sharing–I’ve added it to my must-try list.
Salsa….so good and versatile. My daughter and I eat it daily. We like it spicy with some chunks. My husband likes a smooth, milder version. It works because there’s something for all.
I like mine spicer than sweeter. I do think the fruit would make it sweet enough.
I have been on a salsa kick this summer for some reason I just can not get enough of it. I have to try this recipe I think I would like to try it with the pineapples that sounds really good thanks for sharing.
