Healthy Teeth for Dogs With Natural Balance Dental Chews

A lot of dogs have bad breath. Mine certainly does. He can get into some very disgusting smells. Of course, he is a pain when I try to brush his teeth. So finding some type of dental chews that would help his breath, and maintain his oral hygiene is important to me. I, and especially my German Shepherd, Blue, were very lucky enough to receive two bags of Natural Balance Dental Chews.

I received two bags, one is a Sweet Potato & Chicken Meal formula with Mango, and the other is a Duck Meal formula. Blue seemed to favor the Duck Meal chews. He comes running when he hears the bag!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t sure how many chews to give him daily. I was sent bags that were labeled for Small to Medium dogs (5lb to 25lbs). Online, it shows that the Medium to Large (25lbs to 50lbs) bags are available, but Blue is a little over 100lbs. So I give him the two daily, and he gives me a look that seems to say, “That’s it?”

I am happy knowing that these Natural Balance Dental Chews will be something healthy that Blue can consume. It’s relieving to know that these chews can help reduce plaque and tartar, which helps their bad breath. Natural Balance Dental Chews also have the antioxidant nutrient Vitamin C, which helps with their immune system. The chews support their digestion as well. I do my best to make sure Blue stays happy and healthy. Blue is my ‘fur’ baby, his health is top priority.

Natural Balance provides not only Dental Chews but also dog canned formula, dry formula, stew formula, and dog treats. These products are available all around many pet stores within the United States and Canada.

I will continue to give these to Blue, even though they are meant for smaller dogs. He seems to like both types of chews. I hope to find some specifically meant for much larger dogs, but at least every little helps.
