Beautiful Nail Lacquers from Mary Kay

I am a self-professed nail polish diva. Seriously, I own at least 30 nail polishes and nail lacquers at any given time. I change my nail color at least once a week, if not more. I am always giving myself manicures & pedicures and luckily for me…I grow beautiful, long, natural nails.

For over 15+ years I have been buying various Mary Kay beauty products. I often buy their foundation, mascara, blush, eye shadows and more. With that said, for some reason I never bought any of their nail lacquers!

Recently the company sent me 2 of their gorgeous nail lacquers to review for all of you. When they arrived and I saw their beautiful dark colors, I knew I would be in-love with them! Sure, I will do pastels every once in awhile, but I am a dark color polish lover!!!

I received the Mary Kay “Night Diamond” nail lacquer which is a really pretty dark charcoal gray (almost black with a hint of navy blue) with silver sparkles. The majority of the colors I gravitate to have a sparkly or shimmery finish to them.

I also received the Mary Kay “Sapphire Noir” nail lacquer which is a really deep and saturated purple-blue color. It has a “slight” shimmer to it but I really think it is more of a matte color.

One of the things I noticed right off the batt with these nail lacquers is that they were not overly stinky. You know what I mean ladies, sometimes you can smell a nail polish a mile away when it is wet. These had a very low odor factor to them which I appreciated.

Next, I found that I got great coverage with them! When I used the “Night Diamond” I only used one coat on my nails. When I used the “Sapphire Noir” I did use two coats. In addition, I got long-lasting wear and the color stayed chip-free for about 5-6 days before I needed a touch-up. That is fabulous since I am hard on my nails!

I am really impressed with these nail lacquers and finally…I got to try some! Now I know what I have been missing all of these years when I wasn’t buying them. Out of the two that I received for the review, that “Night Diamond” shade is my favorite!!!
