Now that fall is on the way and the days are getting a tad cooler, it is harder to get into the pool for my workout. This summer, I ran an hour in the water 3-4 times a week and I was really pleased with the results. I have tapered off since the evenings are getting so cool and that water is getting cold. So now it is time to transition back into activities I can do anytime and walk fit DVDs are just the ticket. I love the ease of them and I was thrilled to be able to review a new one for you today.

My Thoughts: This DVD is perfect for me! 10 minute segments are awesome for beginners, intermediates and busy people. Anyone can carve out 10 minute segments in their day! Even if you have more time available, you can do multiple segments.
What I enjoy the most about this DVD is the variety of the workouts. My whole body needs toning, but for those that want to focus on one part or another, you can do that or simply do them all for overall toning and health benefits. I like that you can create your own workout too.
For me a couple of the workouts had some tough transitions because I am not very graceful so I just walk through the ones I can’t do gracefully until I can. But I like that there are plenty of different movements. It is not the same thing over and over. The last workout is the cool down and while each segment does not have it individual cool down, this one is good and you can easily flip to it.
As normal, Leslie is perky and pretty helpful with the transitions. Her group of walkers with her are regulars and do a great job too. I do like the 10 minute segments, but I do miss the mile marker counter. For me, I enjoy knowing that I am doing a mile or two, but with these being just 10 minutes, most of them would work out to be a mile, or close to it, I would expect.
