LA Looks Nutra Curl Styling Gel

I have very long, thick and super curly hair. I am fortunate that my hair is naturally curly and I love that. What I don’t like is that my curls will frizz out and look droopy if I don’t use any type of hair styling products when I style my hair.

For years I have been using the styling gels from LA Looks and it is my preferred brand. Recently I got to try out a styling gel in their line that I have never tried before. This particular one is a level 8 hold so it is for busy on-the-run moms like me that have way too much to do each & every day.

In addition to having naturally curly hair, I also color it. We all know how damaging coloring is to your hair and often times…my hair is just way too dried out which adds to the frizziness.

The LA Looks Nutra Curl Level 8 Hold Styling Gel moisturizes dry and/or damaged hair. It helps to define your curls and helps them to be frizz-free no matter what the weather may be doing outside. Humidity, no problem. It is also safe for people like me who color their hair. It is infused with Avocado Oil to help naturally moisturize your hair.

You can apply this hair gel to wet hair or dry hair. For me personally, I apply it to my wet (but towel-dried) hair as soon as I get out of the shower. Since I have super long & very thick hair, I have to apply a generous amount and massage it through. I then hit it lightly with my hair dryer for a few minutes and then finish getting ready for my day.

This gel smells really nice, a fresh & clean fragrance to it thanks to the Avocado Oil which also gives it that green appearance but trust me, you won’t see green in your hair. One of the things I like about it is that my hair is not stiff, crunchy or sticky after I apply it. My new hubby doesn’t like women to have crunchy hair! Another thing I like is that it gives me great hold, all day long. I don’t need to do any touch-ups at work or after work at all.

Usually I use the LA Looks Define & Shine Gel but frankly, I think I like this one better due to the fragrance. They both work equally as well in the performance department, but I think the Nutra Curl smells a lot nicer.
