There’s nothing quite like a nice, bright smile. I am a teeth-brushing, dentist-loving person and when asked if I’d like to review some new products from Colgate to help whiten and brighten my smile, I didn’t hesitate to say yes! I have always taken really good care of my teeth, but thanks to growing older and loving several stain making offenders—tea, coffee and wine—I’ve noticed the smile I used to sport is just a little dull, which is simply unacceptable! I have wanted to try a whitening solution, but there haven’t been many affordable options. Rejoice, fellow toothbrush-loving friends. Let me tell you about this latest find! Enter the Colgate Optic White products.
I received three products for review that I’ve been using for the past week: The Colgate Optic White PLATINUM White & Radiant Toothpaste, the Colgate Optic White WhiteSeal Mouthwash and the Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Whitening Pen. All of them are extremely affordable, convenient and hassle free. Who doesn’t want a dazzling, shining, brighter smile without breaking the bank?
I’ll start by telling you about my favorite product among these whitening and protecting products—the Optic White PLATINUM Whiten & Protect toothpaste scores big points from this girl. I’ve been using it several times a day and not only does it removes the stains from teeth; it works to remove deeper stains over time. While the product literature recommends using the product for four weeks to see teeth that are three shades whiter, I can see a slight difference in only a week. In addition, the new WhiteSeal technology forms a shield around teeth, to help seal out new stains. It makes your teeth and mouth feel so clean and fresh.
I’ve also been using the Colgate Optic White WhiteSeal Mouthwash after brushing each day and this product is available in an Icy Mint flavor that I must say, is pretty strong and takes some getting used to. The mouthwash not only whitens, but refreshes and protects your teeth with its combination of 2% hydrogen peroxide (clinically proven to provide effective whitening beyond surface stains) and WhiteSeal technology. This mouthwash helps remove surface stains and helps to seal out new stains.
The last of these new products I’ve been testing out is the Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Whitening Pen. This is a great and effective combination, which I think is perfect to tote to the office with you or packed in a travel bag. I’m actually headed out of town for a trip this week and I plan to take these along with me. The toothbrush is specially designed with stain removers and polishing bristles to help remove surface stains. The Optic White Whitening Pen is an added bonus that contains hydrogen peroxide in a unique stay-on gel formula that begins working right away. No waiting or rinsing. Within two days, you should see a difference using this great little product.
