Beam Free Video Content from the Web to Your TV Using YouBeam

September 30, 2014 by Classystaff

YouBeam
The cost of cable and satellite TV is getting so high! I hate to pay to have the privilege of watching television. It is one of my pet peeves but I am not in the position to kill the connection yet. My hubby loves to watch TV, movies, and football and I do have some favorites my self.

With all of the advances in technology and streaming video, there are so many new opportunities to watch your favorite movies on line. Today I want to share with you a brand new product that can make a huge difference in how you watch TV.

YouBeam is a small device that fits in the palm of a person’s hand, but it’s a big game changer for people who are tired of high cable bills. Windows, Android and soon Mac (iOS) users can simply plug YouBeam into their TV, connect it to their WiFi network, and start beaming free Internet content directly to their TV through the YouBeam video browser – allowing YouBeam users to drop their expensive cable TV subscriptions.

Tenderbox LLC launched this new product for people who are fed up with cable TV companies. YouBeam is comprised of two products which work together to help users search for free Web content and then watch it directly on their TV. The first product is a browser that lets the user surf the Web safely for videos which are free of viruses, adware, and annoying pop-up ads. The browser also has a video search engine that helps users find exactly what they are looking for online.

The second product is a hardware device that is so small it fits in the palm of a person’s hand. This device attaches to a TV through an HDMI port and easily connects to any WiFi network in range using the browser’s interface. The browser has a special remote control feature that allows the user to “beam” most video from the Web directly to their TV through the YouBeam device.

YouBeam is easy to use. Users can surf the Web just like any other browser or type what they are looking for into the YouBeam search bar. When a user finds the video they want (and as long as it is compatible), the “Beam” button changes from red to green. Press the button and the video starts automatically playing on the TV. The browser has additional buttons to stop, pause, FF, and RW the video while it’s playing on TV.

“YouBeam offers users features Apple TV, Roku, Google Chromecast and Google TV just don’t offer,” said Tenderbox LLC CTO Patrick Zuili.

The YouBeam browser is a one-time charge of $5. Intro offer of $34 + $3.99/month for the first 500 customers. Then the price is $49.95 for the YouBeam device. The YouBeam subscription to activate the beaming feature on the browser is $3.99 per month, with the first month free. Visit www.youbeam.tv for product information.

This is the first time I have heard of YouBeam. What a great idea and company. I learned that you can either use their browser on my computer or take the YouBeam device and attach it to my TV. Wow…….. I could cut the cable bill and have a wide selection of videos to watch. I like that this protects you from the virus that are common from streaming video onto the computer.
