Help Your Digestive Health with Vita-Web Probiotic

For many years before my mom passed away she was having terrible issues with her stomach and intestines from what is now called Celiac’s Disease. Since I am so much like my mom in many ways, I too have begun to suffer from stomach bloating, stomach aches and intestinal issues after eating breads and certain foods. I eat mainly a low carb diet but every so often something will sneak in there and get me! I had heard a lot about Probiotics but never took any before I was asked to review the product from Vita-Web.

Vita-Web is a subsidiary of Healthy Bastards, from whom we have reviewed several products before. So I knew the product I was going to receive was going to be a top quality, pure supplement and I couldn’t wait to try it out. I was sent a bottle of their Probiotic Supplement to try.

I have to say that I really liked the fact that this is a once a day supplement that you take with food. I usually take it in the morning when I eat something. I did not notice anything at all as far as an upset stomach so that was good. But what I did notice was that the incidents of discomfort after eating questionable foods really went down. I was not running to the bathroom after eating something like a piece of bread although I do restrict those in my diet – but sometimes you just have to have 1 piece! Normally I would regret that decision in a matter of minutes, but with the probiotic, my tummy felt good after eating it. I did still have some swelling in my stomach, which tells me certain breads are really is not something I need to eat!

I was reading the Vita-Web site and learned so much about the bacteria in the gut – good and bad. This product contains the good bacteria that helps our bodies.

Here are the Ingredients:

Probiotic Bacteria Organisms
Bacillus Subtillus: helps fight infections and traveler’s diarrhea
L. Rhamnosus: one of the most well-documented strains for women’s health. Fights yeast growth.
L. Casei
B. Longum
L. Acidophilus: helps fight inflammation and prevent diarrhea
L. Pantarum: helps fight bad bacteria that inflame lining of the stomach
B. Breve
Other ingredients: Vegetable Cellulose, Magnesium Sterate and Stearic Acid

Overall, my stomach has felt much better since adding this probiotic to my diet. The American diet is not the greatest for adding healthy bacteria to your stomach so getting some help along the way with a natural probiotic seems like a great addition. I know I am pleased with how it has helped me! It might be something you want to check out if you have having issues with your immune system caused by lack of healthy bacteria.
