Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend! I was on a partial vacation last week and when I say partial…it was a working vacation for my other job.
Today’s topic for discussion is really a big PET PEEVE that I have. Here we go!
I am sick and tired of attending Mass (we are Catholic) and hearing all cell phones go off! I am sick and tired of seeing people sending and receiving text messages during religious services. In addition, put away those iPads and Tablets too!
Have some RESPECT for others who are attending various religious services and turn off those freaking electronic gadgets! There is a time & place for them but…during religious services it should be a no-no!!!
As I sat in church yesterday I was appalled at how many people are addicted to their phones & gadgets and can’t leave them turned off or put away for a freaking hour during Mass. What is that all about???
It is very disrespectful to everyone who is in attendance and that kind of disrespectful behavior needs to stop!!!
We always turn off our phones and put them on vibrate. We do NOT take our tablet & iPad into services with us!!! C’mon people, let’s get it together!!!
Have a great Monday everyone and thank you for letting me vent!

I totally agree. I think if you don’t want to immerse yourself in the religious service you are attending, you should not be there.
I agree! I remember one time my phone went off in church and it scared me as I always turn it off, but apparently forgot. Well it was Christmas time so I had a Christmas Song as my ring tone and I could not turn it off! I kept hitting mute and hanging up on the caller while fumbling to turn it off. My friend kept calling me back thinking there was something wrong w. my phone. It was loud too and everyone was laughing, except the pastor! I was mortified! After that it was funny….
