It is the dog days of summer now and for many of us…we are looking to quench our thirst with a tasty cocktail beverage. I love pineapple and I love rum…so this is the perfect punch recipe for me. Doesn’t it look delicious? I think so! I am going to whip up a batch of this punch this coming weekend for our little party that we are hosting here at our home.
So, what do you think? Is this the type of drink you would like to try?

Pineapple Rum Punch Recipe
2 ounces Gallo Family Vineyards Moscato
2 1/2 ounces spiced rum
8 ounces pineapple juice
4 ounces coconut water
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
Pineapple wedges for garnish
Preparation – In a small pitcher combine pineapple juice, coconut water, spiced rum, moscato, lime juice and simple syrup. Pour over ice-filled glasses and garnish with pineapple wedges.
The versatility and delicious sweetness of Moscato make it the perfect base for a cocktail. Gallo Family Vineyards has created a series of delicious wine cocktail recipes using Moscato, including the refreshing punch below. Punches are the perfect way to entertain in a group as they can be prepared beforehand and leave the host free to enjoy spending time with guests!
Also, a great tip for decorating is to cut a slit in the corks pulled from the wine bottles and slide in a card to label the food choices in an easy and elegant way.

This sounds like a delicious fruit cocktail to have on any day , but especially a hot summer one. I like the idea of adding the coconut water, I also love the style of this pitcher.
I will Drink a Fruit Drink every once in awhile. This recipe sounds so much like a Pina Colada which is one of my favorites. I will have to try this recipe. Sounds Good..Thankyou for Posting!
This drink sounds very delicious. I like the coconut water and pineapple in this drink. I would like to make this drink and have it for dinner. Thanks for the recipe.
I’m not a drinker but the last one I tried (years ago) was a Pina Colada and loved the fruity drink. I think I’d try this without the alcohol too. Love the pitcher here.
Because of my health and meds I cannot have any alcohol right now ***SIGH*** but this looked so good that I had to check it out! I really think it would be delicious without it and because I love pineapple and coconut I’m going to try it out and see!
Boy could I go for one of these right about now. I am getting a little tired of this 100 degree weather and today our power went out so no air conditioning! Thanks for the great recipe I have got to try this one.
I just came back from a trip to the caribbean. They are crazy about their rum punches there!
