Help Raise Money for Your Child’s Sports Team

August 12, 2014 by Shelly

Help Raise Money for Your Child’s Sports TeamWhen I was a child I was heavily involved in sports. I was on the dance team, cheerleading squad and played floor hockey. I loved sports and was pretty good at it.

Once I became a mother, I passed on my love of sports to my daughter. Growing up she was involved in gymnastics, dance and did professional cheerleading for 11 years. She was really good at it and traveled all over the United States before retiring from it at the age of 21.

Now that I am a grandmother, we are loving children’s sports all over again! Just this past summer our grand daughter got involved in swimming, diving, dance and gymnastics.

As an aunt to many nieces and nephews…we love when the weekends roll around so we can go out and watch the kids play soccer, baseball, T-ball, football, etc. It is a lot of fun!

Just last weekend we attended my nephew Caleb’s very first High School Football Game and had a blast! He is the kicker (thanks to his experience with soccer) and was the hero of the game last week when he kicked the winning field goal. Way to go Caleb!!! We are very proud of you!

How many of you know that there are companies out there looking to sponsor teams and sport’s athletes? Well, there are! Often times these companies don’t know who to sponsor or how to go about it. Thankfully, there is PearUp.com.

Pear is basically the middleman and helps to connect the sponsors with groups who are in need of sponsorship. As we all know, sports are very expensive programs and they need all of the financial help & donations that they can get.

Pear helps the group leader create a Pear, and the group leader invites others to join. There is a community manager at Pear that will help the groups get the most out of the program.

Groups earn sponsorship money by creating a Pear for their group and sharing with others who complete digital incentives to earn more money. Each group can earn up to $1,000 within a 10-day time frame. Wow, that is $1,000 that can be used toward team apparel!

Each team member completes digital steps on behalf of Safeskin to earn dollars – things like liking Safeskin on Facebook, following Safeskin on Instagram or signing up for an email. For every step team members complete, they’ll get dollars towards their goal. The more tasks you complete, the more dollars you earn for your sponsorship. At the end of the 10-day period, group leaders claim an online certificate for the amount earned redeemable at any Pear printer.

What is really cool is this…You get to keep whatever amount you earn and it is completely FREE to participate. That’s right, COMPLETELY FREE!!! Should I repeat that? Yes, I will. IT IS FREE to PARTICIPATE!

Safeskin Youth Sports Wraps is sponsoring youth sports teams across the country by providing funds toward the purchase of team apparel.

So, what are you waiting for? If you have children who play sports head on over there today. If you know of others who can use this information, please pass it onto them. Thanks!

This is so cool, and I had no idea. It’s great that there are companies out there wanting to help. Sports are expensive on all ends…league, team, and parents. Not only does this help with funding and getting the name out there, but it lets kids know that companies and their community are interested in them and helping them.
