Cook’d Right™ Sensor Disposable Thermometer

August 15, 2014 by Classystaff

What I love the most about warmer weather is that we can use the grill a lot more often. During the summer I use my grill at least 3-4 times a week. My house heats up so much when I have to use the oven it is not worth it. Plus my grill is awesome and I love to use it. I am pretty good at knowing when my meats are prepared correctly since I have been cooking for forever, but my hubby is very paranoid about undercooked meats so a meat thermometer is a must have for him. I want to share a cool new product with you that can help with your cooking and grilling meat preparation.

The Volk Enterprises Cook’d Right™ Sensor is a disposable thermometer that comes with packages of smaller cuts of meat, poultry and seafood. The sensor is simply inserted into the thickest portion of the meat and after 5 to 10 seconds, a color change at the tip of the sensor indicates your meat is cooked to the safe and proper temperature. This product takes the guesswork out of grilling and cooking, and makes cooking a safe and delicious meal easy!
cook'd right sensor https://twoclassychics.com/2014/08/grill-right-volk-enterprises-cookd-right-sensor-disposable-thermometer/
This is an easy to use product that is accurate and disposable. The Single use sensor is great for camping, grilling anywhere or special occasions, like that big beef roast you want to come out perfectly. The Multi Use sensor can be used up to 24 times before disposing.

I bet you are asking why choose a disposable sensor over a regular thermometer? Normal thermometers lose calibration and can be off temperature within just a few uses. The Cook’d Right™ Sensor is preset for a specific temperature, depending on the meat choice, and will not lose calibration. They offer 3 different sensors:

a. 165° Sensor- for poultry/pork/hamburger/beef
b. 145° Sensor- for seafood, medium rare pork
c. 3-point sensor for beef/steak that changes color at rare, medium & well

Now you do not have to remember to what degree your meat should be cooked. The sensor does it all for you! Every time my hubby cooks he asks me what the temp should be. I am getting him these, just to save my sanity!!

If you would like for your favorite store to carry the Cook’d Right™ Sensor, request it from your butcher, grocer and preferred brands. You can check out the site to find what stores Volk currently serves.

Happy Grilling!
