Grandparent’s Day has been around for more than 35 years. It’s coming up again on Sept. 7th. This year I will be celebrating my 5th year as a grandmother and super excited about that!

GourmetGiftBaskets sent me a present for Grandparent’s day and sent me the Baked Goods Sampler Basket to review for all of you. I have received several products from them over the past few years and I have to admit, this was one of my all-time favorites!!!
I am a self-admitted cookie & brownie addict. Inside this beautiful basket were rich brownies (chocolate chunk and cheesecake), with tempting cookies (white chocolate macadamia, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip and peanut butter.) What a beautiful gifting presentation and I loved the colorful bow!
Regarding the goodies inside…oh my! Now, I am not a greedy person so I did share my cookies & brownies with my hubby and my mother. My absolute favorite was the Cheesecake Brownie. Hubby loved the Chocolate Chunk Brownie and the White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies. My mom is a traditional type of gal and went for the Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Everything was delicious and tasted freshly baked. YUMMY GOOD!
Remember, Grandparent’s Day is on September 7th and there is still time to order your gifts from GourmetGiftBaskets. Head on over there today and take a look around.

Love this holiday and would love to be able to spend it with my grand kids. My granddaughter’s birthday is mid September and I always go down for it. Can’t do both but I think about them and think this is a great holiday. Good to think about your grandparents. That brownie sound amazing….maybe I’ll have to buy it for my husband….he is a grandpa.
Always remember my grandparents on this day even though they’ve long passed. Love to look at gift basket selections for all celebrations.
