I have a love/hate relationship with where I live. I hate the area for many issues we have here but I love the proximity to all of the amazing places to go and see. I am lucky in that we live in the central part of the state of California therefore we are within a few hours to many wonderful places to see.
We are about one hour or so from Yosemite National Park and we love to go and visit as often as we can. It is a gorgeous place to unwind, de-stress and just enjoy the outdoors. This image is one that we took when visiting back in June – when there was water up there. Sad Statement because the abundance of water in Yosemite is one of the awesome attractions. If you have not had the chance to visit, put it on your list of must see places!

Glad you all enjoyed it.I love Ansel Adams too and there is a store in Yosemite Park that has a huge section of his work. I love it all!
I’m with Sarah L. on this one–Ansel Adams introduced me to Yosemite, and I’ve wanted to see it for myself since I was a teenager. Your picture is absolutely gorgeous and reinforces my desire to get there. Thanks for posting it.
It is on my list of places I must see. Ansel Adams made me want to go and your picture, too.
So lovely! I have never been there but hopefully next year!!
Beautiful picture and such a lovely place. It has been too many years since I have been there. Thanks for sharing.
