It’s that time of the year again—dust off the backpacks, lunch boxes and prepare for the kids to go back to school. Honestly, where did the summer go? We’re always on the hunt for cool and different school supplies that stand out from the usual pencil box and file folders. Luckily for us, we were recently introduced to WallPops, which is a premier line of peel-and-stick wall art (wall decals and stickers) from Brewster Home Fashions. I have been reviewing one of the Organization Kits, which for us is more of a family organizing system to help us juggle all of the activities, homework and sports that seem to overwhelm us from a scheduling perspective. I decided to choose the Kolkata Organization Kit, which is a subtle white and grey kit that is accented with jewels. I applied it to the walls in our kitchen, which is really the hub of just about every family (it definitely is for us). This is where we plan our meals; figure out who is going where each day and when we have a day of rest (which is not very often). It’s nice to have this area for all of us to write down important dates or notes.

Let me give you some details on the Organization Kits. While I’ve been using mine in the kitchen, these are really the ultimate tools for desk-side organization. Each kit comes with a monthly calendar, weekly calendar, corkboard, pushpins and plain dry erase board, so there’s plenty of room to jot down or hang up a to-do note. These removable, reusable and repositionable wall art stickers are perfect for your walls or cabinets and don’t take the time and commitment of paint or wallpaper, and without any holes from nails or screws. Best of all, they are reusable, so if you decorate in a dorm or apartment you can take them with you and never leave behind a sticky residue. I had to re-adjust and re-stick one of the wall stickers and it was simple and didn’t pull off any paint from my cabinet.
