feel good collections necklaceIn about 2 1/2 weeks I will be heading off on my honeymoon to Mexico. My new husband and I will be spending a glorious week exploring the coastal areas and are really looking forward to this time away.

I have been busy getting together all of the clothing, accessories and jewelry that I need for my upcoming trip. Like most women, I love shopping especially for artisan crafted & handmade goods.

I received the Brilliant Soleil Necklace to review for you which retails for $35.00 each. This is a fair-trade and handmade necklace from India. I love holding it in my hands and thinking about where it came from. India seems so far away but yet, I am holding an Indian-made necklace in my hands.

It is handcrafted out of brass and featured yellow (almost a lime green) beads which are accented with blue and gray cords. There is an extender on this necklace so you can adjust the length with the longest length being approximately 20″ long. I love that it has a lobster style clasp which makes it very easy to get on & off.

Brilliant Soleil Necklace

The necklace is big, bold and colorful! The little brass drops give it an almost fringe effect which is totally hot & in-style right now. It can be worn casually or to the office. It is very versatile and lays nicely around your neckline.

The top photo shows my grandmother modeling it and the bottom photo shows me wearing it casually with a tank shirt and shorts. I am going to be taking this piece with me on my honeymoon as I think it will look great with the tops & maxi skirts that I am packing for my trip!
