sylca necklaceSylca Designs is a jewelry company that I immediately fell in-love with as soon as I saw all of their beautiful designs featured on their web site. The company is owned by a Colombian- born mother-daughter team who are both very talented jewelry designers.

When you shop at Sylca Designs you will find necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and bags. All of their items are handmade and some of them are very unique in the marketplace.

The company sent me a beautiful pair of hoop earrings to review for all of you and let me tell you…I was NOT disappointed!

Unique Handmade Jewelry by Sylca Designs

I received the Brown Hoop Earrings which retail for $18.00. The earrings are in a goldtone finish and made out of handcrafted wooden beads. There are 5 beads on each earring, ranging in different sizes and colors.

The hoops feature Shepard hooks with little rubber backs to keep them securely on your ears. Yes, they are for pierced ears only and they are very light-weight and comfortable to wear.

If you like dainty earrings or studs…these earrings are NOT for you. They measure about 2 1/2″ in diameter and really make a bold statement when you are wearing them. I love the neutral brown colors because you can wear them with just about any outfit.

Since receiving them…I have worn them several times and received nothing but compliments when I wear them. In addition, my mother (shown in the photos) borrowed them one day & wore them out on a date! Yup, mother is dating again…finally!  I love these earrings!!!
