Traveling to Outer Space

July 21, 2014 by Shelly

Full MoonGood morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Our weekend started off fantastic but sadly…it ended terribly when we got the news that my niece passed away from cancer on Saturday evening. The entire family is devastated and saddened by this news. She was in her early 30’s and with a young son. Very sad. Please keep her family in your thoughts & prayers this week.

Today’s topic for discussion:

If you had the opportunity to travel up into outer space…would you do it? If so, why would you and what would you want to do while up there? If not, why not?

Personally, I am quite happy to keep my feet on the ground so it would be a NO for me. I have no desire to visit space, the moon or the planets. You?

So sorry for your loss. That is so very tragic!
Personally, I have to agree with you: I like where I am and have no desire to travel to outer space. There is enough to see on this planet.

Thank you ladies. It is just very hard. I can barely even talk about it. That is 5 deaths in our family in the past 7 months. We just can’t take anymore. I am so sad I can hardly stand myself. Just depressed and not sure how I should feel…shock I guess that we are going through this again just 3 months after my beloved auntie passed & I am still grieving about that.

My sympathy to you and your family on your niece’s passing. It’s particularly difficult when we lose someone so young with so much promise.

I would have to say if I knew I could go to space and come back here safely and everyone that I know on earth was still here. I mean not like hundreds of years had passed then I would like to go but that is a lot of “ifs”.

Again so very sorry for your loss.

    God Bless

I would stay right here on this home planet. No desire at all to see outer space!
My condolences for your loss. I hope you have good memories to hold in your heart.

I am so sorry for your loss, and of course you and your family will be in our prayers and thoughts. Hold your family close and hug them dearly.
As for the topic, I’d like to travel in the US and a few other countries but have no interest in going into space. It looks beautiful and the idea of being weightless is interesting but not for me. Planes fly high enough I don’t need to leave our atmosphere like that.

I really don’t think I would go to Outer Space if I could, I like my feet on the ground just fine. Sorry to hear about your niece.
