Family Movie Night – The Junior Spy Agency on DVD

July 17, 2014 by Shelly

The Junior Spy Agency on DVDLooking for a new movie to watch for family movie night? If so, let me introduce you to the brand new “The Junior Spy Agency” movie that was released on July 15th, 2014.

Synopsis: Sam Steele and his Junior Spy Agency (Sam, Emma and Doug the Dog) are back on assignment after a long summer of solving crimes. Sam’s history class assignment leads him to his first clues in search of a priceless Russian treasure that’s been smuggled into the U.S. Now he and his agency are pitted against Cash (played by Kevin Sorbo) and a gang of bumbling thieves as they race to recover the treasure before it falls into the wrong hands forever.

Main Characters/Actors: Emma Marsh (played by Katherine McNamara), Sam Steele (played by Jacob Hays) and Cash (played by Kevin Sorbo, plus Doug the Dog!

Our Thoughts: We get tired of constantly watching animated films with our grand daughter so it is nice when we find a good movie that is NOT animated to watch together. This movie is adorable and Doug the Dog is just way TOO cute!

The movie has a very nice story line that holds your interest from start to finish. What is really cool is that you won’t find any violent stuff or nastiness in this family-friendly move at all. The princess is 5 years old and she really enjoyed watching it with us.

The movie has an approximate run time of 94 minutes and that is a great length for a movie to watch with children. The genre is classified as kids/family/adventure but I would definitely throw mystery in there too. It kind of reminds me of those old Hardy Boy & Nancy Drew mysteries but in a much more modern era and definitely better written!

You can learn more about this new movie release by visiting the Inception Media Group web site. You can find it for purchase at Walmart, and on Amazon.
