I don’t think there is a dog out there that does not love to go for car rides. Louie is addicted to his rides and we takes him 4-5 times a week for a spin. There is a park that he loves to go to where he can run and play. The main problem with these fun car rides is the doggie mess on the seat. Drool, hair, scratches and holes from his nails have proven to be super hard on our car seat. With the seats covered in leather, I sweat it every time he hops in. We have already replaced one seat due to holes he has torn. Solvit Pet Products came to the rescue with the perfect item for us to review.
The Solvit Deluxe Sta-Put Bench Seat Cover is just what our seat needed! This easy to remove car seat cover is just the ticket! I was using a thick dog blanket on my car seat that worked okay except it would slide off often. The Pet Bench Seat Cover protects the seat completely and it is easy to use.
This cover is nice and thick with a quilted microfiber fabric to add comfort and style for your dog. The fabric is soft and treated with stain block for easy care. It was a breeze to attach to the seat. You simply hook the straps over the headrest, tuck in the white tubes into the bench seat to tuck the seat cover in to place and then secure it around the bench with a white elastic strap. You can adjust the head rest straps for the perfect fit. There are holes cut out for the seat belts too.
Our truck is a full size vehicle and I was a bit concerned about the seat cover fitting, but it was just right. It is easy to take off for passengers and then put back on for the dog to use. It protects the seat and back fully and Louie does not slide on the leather seat anymore, which was a big concern of mine. Plus, it is machine washable too! The Solvit Pet Bench Seat Cover is finished beautifully and looks great! Louie appreciates the comfort and I love the protection it offers my seat. We are ready for more summer travels now!

I always wanted a pet ramp like this one: Deluxe Telescoping Pet Ramp #62305 / 62337. My first dog had arthritis toward the end of his life where I had to carry him everywhere and this would have been handy.
