Sesame Street: Learning Rocks DVD
The upcoming Sesame Street: Learning Rocks makes learning as fun as always. This collection of new and classic material includes over two hours of your favorite monsters and guest stars.
Sesame Street was my favorite childhood show. I watched long after my friends moved on to afternoon reruns of action dramas, with and without a younger child nearby. When my youngest brother was born, I spent many of my high school summer mornings watching Mr. Hooper, Super Grover, Maria, Oscar, Snuffy, Bert, Ernie, and all the others while caring for him. When my children hit preschool age, Sesame Street came back into my life. I loved sharing the show with my kids, as did many of my classmates and friends. Sesame Street has touched the hearts and minds of families for 44 seasons now and remains the top choice for mothers and their preschoolers. It educates and entertains like no other child’s program and has the 153 Emmy Awards to prove it.
Now that my kids are nearly adults, I get to enjoy my favorites with my preschooler niece. When we’re together, we discuss characters from her favorite books and shows, and Elmo is one of them. She’s just like her cousins! Luckily for us, we don’t have to wait until Sesame Street is on the air because we can watch anytime and anywhere thanks to mobile technology. And thanks to an upcoming DVD and digital release, we’ll have new and classic adventures to enjoy. Sesame Street: Learning Rocks includes over two hours of your favorite monsters and guest stars sharing lessons about rocks and music as only Sesame Street can.
One thing that Sesame Street has always done well is cast guest stars. A look back at past seasons shows musicians, actors, politicians, and children dropping in to interact with the Muppets. Learning Rocks is no exception. Michael McKean, Rev Run, and Parks and Recreation’s Donald Glover star in three skits about rocks with a musical twist. Anna Faris and Dax Shepard also appear along with Abby, Elmo, Zoe, and more.
Look for Sesame Street: Learning Rocks on DVD and digital July 22, 2014 for $14.98. I cannot wait to share this one with my niece.
