Our Thoughts: We saw the original RIO as a family for the first time last year and loved it. We were all looking forward to obtaining this DVD and seeing how the sequel turned out. Well, we weren’t disappointed. Frankly, I think the sequel is even better!
The cast of characters are super cute and the story line is adventurous and fun! Blu and Jewel are an adorable couple and those 3 little birdlets they have are super cute! The animation with this one is just top notch!
We really enjoyed watching it and since receiving it…the Princess has watched it several times. It is her “new” favorite movie of the moment!
You can find RIO 2 at various retailers across the nation. However, if you head on over to Best Buy to pick it up…you can find it being packaged with an adorable RIO 2 lunchbox! Super fun!

I liked the first Rio, and looking forward to the second. My family likes to watch animated movies and the colors of the forest are so beautiful so I am sure we will love this one too.
I too enjoyed the original Rio and am sure that I shall love the Rio 2 movie.

I have not seen either of them and it’s killing me! I had heard so many things about the first one and now you say the second is even better. Being too sick to go to the theater really bites, but I’m going to see both of these before the summer is out!
My nephew loved this movie. I think his folks bought it for him to watch.
