Every Monday, we love to share some of the neat things we got the previous week in our mailbox and we encourage all of you to tell us about the special things you got too! These special things can be gifts you received, special greeting cards or giveaways you won on the web! What about all of the freebies that showed up?
Shelly & Gianna – Well, I am late with this photo and rundown of mailbox Monday because I got a little behind with my vacation last month. With that said, a few weeks ago the Princess Gia had a great mailbox week! Chris (her mail pal) sent her a few goodies for her birthday & she was pretty excited that she got mail (addressed) to her that particular week! She loves getting mail out of my mailbox.
For myself personally…I got a slew of Birthday cards last week, yay! My friends know I disapprove of e-cards so they sent me REAL birthday cards! I also got a gift card for Target, one for Lowe’s and one for Kohl’s for my Birthday.

I received a DVD of game software from HER Interactive that I won. It is Nancy Drew: The Shattered Medallion, which is an interactive mystery that I can’t wait to try out. I also received my Legends of Oz dolls that I won from Madame Alexander, so fun things in my mailbox last week.
I received my M & M ball I won in the mail, as well as, a cat food sample I sent for. I always appreciate getting samples in the mail and being able to try out new products for free. The M & M ball the kids just love! It’s a squishy, soft ball that is great for playing catch and throwing at each other without anyone really getting hurt LOL They have been having lots of fun with it 🙂
I’m a member of PaperBack Swap, where you can trade books (paperback or otherwise) online. When someone requests one of your books, you send it to them and get a credit, then when you see a posted book you want, you just request it and they send it to you (so the only cost is the postage you use to send out books). Anyway, last week I received a nice cookbook, Bundt Classics, with lots of great cake recipes, as well as some breads and even recipes for meals. Fun!
Sounds like a great mailbox week for you. I did get a few items from giveaways that I have won. Mostly it is stuff for my son like books.
I finally splurged on myself! I bought a ScotteVest Molly Jacket that I have been eyeing for a couple of years and that finally went on sale. This treasure arrived along with a bunch of things from LL Bean for both me and the hubby. We are clothed for our many travels!
I did get my Reebok Skyscapes. They’re lovely and comfortable and so light weight. Wore them to the Cherry Creek Arts Festival on Friday and they walked great and got compliments. I also got a $50 Amazon GC that I went and spent on essential oils and a new water bottle.
I am glad that both you and Gia (a few weeks ago) had good birthday weeks.
I received some winnings: a couple of books and L’Oreal Privee lip and Preference hair color. I also got coupons for Lysol, Level Life,Dial and Au Naturale anti-breakage and and samples of Dial and Level Life Protein shake.
