Shelly ~ Well…back in early June I won a gorgeous pearl necklace from another blog and it has arrived!!! I am thinking about wearing this gorgeous pearl necklace with my mother-of-the-bride gown for the upcoming wedding. I think it will look stunning and i already own a gorgeous pair of gray pearl drop earrings that would look very nice with it. Yay!!! Now…I need to go out and find the perfect shoes and I will be all ready for the wedding!

I had a great mail week last week. I was excited to get a luggage scale I won. Both my husband and I have large families and get visitors often so this will be very useful. I also got a stainless steel ice pop mold set for making popsicles which I was thrilled to have won. I received a few really nice birthday cards and the Kloo Language Game I won here on TCC too. We really love this game! Thanks again!
Last week I got a big surprise when a delivery truck showed up with a slow cooker for me! It’s great–a 6.5-quart oval model, programmable, with an aluminum pot that can be removed and used on the stovetop to brown the meat before putting it into the base for slow cooking. I received it because I had previously responded to an offer to review a different model, but wasn’t chosen for that one. So now I’ll post a review of this model after I’ve used it again a couple of times. How cool is that!?!
I love pearls and wear them a lot since they’re such a classic.
I received The LEGO Movie I won from another blog and a Crafting with Paracord book, which I won back in May. I love them both and can’t wait spending time exploring both book and movie.
