To a makeup junkie like me, there is nothing better than a great set of makeup brushes. A professional set can add so much to your makeup application and leave your skin looking flawless. You can apply your makeup in different ways by using a different brush and finish your application with polish and precision. I was so excited to be able to review a set of makeup brushes for you.

LA Minerals Elite Makeup Brush Set
When I first unrolled this set, my heart was pitter pattering. I was going to have fun with these! The brushes are beautiful to look at and feel amazing and the skin. Applying the soft minerals was going to be a dream for sure. One thing to note is that I did need to let this air out for a few hours. The packaging did not allow for the fabric sleeve to breathe so it did have a smell that was not very pleasant when first opened. It dissipated quickly and did not affect the brushes.

Minerals work great in layers and I used the medium concealer brush to apply the base concealer. Foundation was next and that was applied using the shading brush. I applied one color all over, then a sightly darker color along the jaw line and nose area to add some contours to my face. The blush brush applied a lovely light hint of color to my cheeks.

Instead of regular eyeliner, I added a hint of color to my eyes, both under and on my lids with a few shades of color using the eyeliner brush and the eyeshadow brush. The eyebrow brush is nice for keeping your brows in line and the lash brush is nice for lifting and separating your lashes. I finished my face with the fan brush and a light dusting of finishing powder to set everything.

These brushes are so lovely to use. They are soft and did not shed at all for me. The assortment of brushes is just right for any kind of cosmetic you apply to your face. Plus the price is awesome too! I have seen collections like this for over $100 and more.
