As you all know, I have a little 5 year old grand daughter who attends preschool. Well, she does for another 2 weeks and then she enters Kindergarten. We are so proud of her and excited that she will be entering the “big kid’s school” in a few weeks.
I am a big arts & crafts person and love various types of crafts. Since I love making crafts, I also love receiving them. Especially when it is something that our precious little sweetheart has made.
Recently at preschool the Princess made flowers & flower pots by recycling plastic water bottles. I think they are super cute! My daughter has the one Gia made for her sitting on her windowsill in her kitchen. Cute and very creative!
Do you love receiving kid’s art? I love it! I have several items that Gia has made for us over the years that I proudly display. When Jenelle was little she used to make all kinds of things too. Many of which I kept and have in storage in our attic and some I kept and already have given back to her now that she is a momma too.

I am glad that the school is showing the students how easy it is to recycle items and make beautiful crafts too. I have kept many of the items my sons made for me and always proudly displayed them.
This is such a cute idea. I made a flower centerpiece out of a dixie cup one day, but this is really cute too 🙂
I love my grandkids artwork and creative projects. I treasure having them hand stuff they “did for me.” Even if it’s just scribbles on the page, living far away, makes each thing they give me a treasure. My grandkids are coming in a couple weeks to stay with grandma, grandpa, and our daughter – their aunt. We can’t wait, and what a fun project this would be. A way to keep the flowers blooming all year long and to have something in my kitchen window that’s them.
