My 5 year old grand daughter loves anything and everything that has to do with Monster High. I am not sure how she became a big fan but I can tell you that for the past year we have invested in a lot of toys & DVDs centered around the Monster High gang.
A brand new DVD is out right now called Monster High: Clawesome Double Feature, which includes two fang-tastic Monster High movies including “Escape from Skull Shores” and “Fright On!”
Clawesome Synopsis: It’s time to “fang out” with your favorite ghoulfriends in this frightfully fabulous double feature, straight from the latest scare-mester at Monster High™! Everyone’s ready for some monstrous fun in the sun during Spring Break in Escape from Skull Shores. But when they find themselves shipwrecked on a totally strange island, Frankie Stein™ is taken by a mysterious Beast… who may just need a little rescuing of his own! Then it’s time to pull together all the student bodies when a meddling normie tries to drive a stake into the imperfectly perfect harmony of Monster High™ in Fright On! It’s up to Frankie Stein™, Clawdeen Wolf™, Draculaura™ and their fangtastic friends to prove that the culture clash of Fur and Fang is no longer an issue for this scary-cool student body!
Recently my little Princess received the new DVD and a Monster High Spectra Vondergeist doll to review for all of you. As usual…as soon as the package arrived…she had the DVD in the player and the doll out of the package. She was squealing all of the way to New Mexico! LOL
Let’s start with the DVD which is called Monster High ~ Clawesome Double Feature. It has episodes on it. (1) Fight On! and (2) Escape from Skull Shores. The Escape from Skull Shores episode features all of our friends hanging out & having fun during spring break. In Fright On! the girls pull together the student body when a meddling normie tries to drive a stake into the imperfectly perfect harmony of Monster High.
I sat down with the Princess to watch both episodes and let me tell you, her butt didn’t move out of that chair. She sat there the entire time holding her new doll and watching the shows. Seriously, the house could of fell down around here and she wouldn’t have moved! LOL Out of both episodes, she seemed to have really liked the Escape from Skull Shores the best but if you ask her…both of them rocked!
The Monster High Spectra Vondergeist Doll is from their Ghoul Sports line and she is the daughter of a ghost. She has gorgeous dark purple long hair and plays tennis. She even comes with her own tennis racket & tennis ball! How she plays tennis in those mile-high heel sneakers…I will never know! The Princess absolutely LOVES that doll!!!

I have a young daughter and a older daughter ( age 19) who collects them. She loves Rochelle! I think she has several varieties of this doll.
