Expensive School Lunches

Good morning everyone! Well, it is going to be a busy 4 days here and we are cooking & baking up a storm. Matter of fact…there is 4 of us here today and it will be nonstop for an upcoming family thing this weekend. By the time Monday rolls around, I will be completely exhausted and I just pulled an all-nighter and going to get some shuteye shortly.

Anyway, our grand daughter is entering Kindergarten in late August and we are super excited to have a little one entering school. However, when my daughter told me that Gia’s lunches will cost $3.89 per day I about fell over. I mean really? Those lunches are not that dang good at all and to be almost $4.00 a day? No wonder the parents are yapping about this as I would be too. Miss Gia will be packing “healthy” lunches 4 days a week and buying lunch 1 day a week at school.

How much do your kids pay for school lunch? Do you feel it is reasonable for what they get or way too expensive for it? I would love to hear your thoughts on that.
