My daughter is getting married in early September and although I have all of my jewelry ready for the wedding…I needed a nice necklace to wear to the rehearsal dinner. With that said, I wanted something unique and beautiful looking, not something that you can find a million of in your local retail jewelry store.
The great folks over at Fotini Designs sent me a gorgeous Birthstone Circle Necklace to review for all of you. I selected the March birthstone (Aqua Quartz) simply because I am wearing an aqua colored dress to the rehearsal dinner. It is going to coordinate with my dress beautifully at this black-tie affair.
The birthstone beads are genuine semi-precious gemstones and just glisten in the light. They encircle the entire gold-plated pendant which is done in a circle shape. The pendant hangs on a gorgeous gold-plated 18″ double chain with a lobster claw clasp. The perfect length to wear with any neckline!
The necklace is available in all 12 months of the calendar year. You can select one circle, two circles or even three circles which I think makes a very nice mother’s necklace and/or fashion statement.
For the purpose of this review, my mother is modeling my new necklace with a casual floral print top. It lays beautifully around her neck. Later that day, she went out on a “date” with her new “friend” and he complimented her on the necklace. I had to “fight her off” to get my new necklace back! LOL Sorry mom, it is MINE and I am wearing it to the rehearsal dinner, get your own please!
I love this necklace! It is very unique and different! I can wear it casually like my mom did or I can dress it up with a sparkling evening gown for the upcoming wedding.
