Flower Gardening: Explosions of Color

July 15, 2014 by Classystaff

I love the cooler temperatures that you can find in Northern California along the coastline. I was thinking about it a lot the other day when it was 106 here. Yuck. What a dream it would be to pick up and move to the upper California coastline where everything is green and healthy from the sea breeze, fog and morning mists. I love it.

We have spent a few trips traveling through such areas and I wanted to share a picture that I took in front of a tourist place in the sequoia area. The flowers that they are able to grow up in that area is amazing due to the cool temps and fog. I just love it. I hope you enjoy this explosion of color. Wish I could do this where I live! It just would not look as nice.

That is beautiful! I wouldn’t have thought to put so many hanging baskets together in a line like that for fear of overwhelming but instead it just looks colorful, fresh, and patriotic. Amazing!

What a stunning display! Whoever is in charge of the flowers there obviously has a green thumb. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful flowers. I love volunteering at the Denver Botanic Gardens where I can see lovely flowers and plants.
