Let’s get a little personal today so we can better get to know one another. We would like to hear about your first ever date or your first date with your significant other!
My first date with my now husband was when I was 17 years old. Matter of fact, we met at my Birthday party at the time that some friends of mine were throwing for me. After the party was over, he took me out for a bite to eat and then took me home.
The very next day he came up to my house and had cake & ice cream with my family and then took me out to the movies to celebrate my birthday. So, we started dating on my 17th birthday and have been together ever since! I was scared to bring him home because he is 7 1/2 years older than me but my momma instantly fell in-love with him.
My birthday is June 29th (Sunday) and he has big plans for us this weekend…every year we celebrate my birthday in big style for sure! It’s my birthday and our dating anniversary!

My FIRST date? Don’t really care – I remember but the guy ended up being a jerk because I wouldn’t “take it to the next level” so to say. Now my first date with my hubby? That brings back great memories! I had just moved to a new city and rented a condo in the same building as the one he lived in. We met in the bar in the building (yes, it was swanky!) and he took me out for dinner of smoked salmon at the pier-front fish restaurant next door to the condo. From then on we were inseparable and this September we will have been together for 25 years. We’ve been married for 16 years!

My now fiancee and I met at a bar 2 years ago and when he asked me out, he did not actually ask, but told me that he was taking me out to eat the next day. We went for Italian food and drinks at the bar we met at later. When he took me home we had a few glasses of red wine in the driveway and ended up talking all night untill about 7 in the morning.
We have been inseperable ever since.

I first met my husband in 1969 and we were married in 1970. His mother knew my father and thought we would make a good match. I guess our parents were right!!
