Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Our’s was busy but I didn’t get done the things I had to do thanks to some family things that got into the way. Sigh, now I will have a super busy week trying to run my errands and get things done before we leave for vacation.
Today’s Topic: I am really happy to learn that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl has finally been released! Personally, I think our government should do more to get our POW’s released and they shouldn’t be held for almost 5 years in captivity. We are supposed to have the “best” intelligence sources and we should of went in there and got him out years ago…shooting up the place if we had to.
Very grateful that he has been released, getting medical treatment and soon will be reunited with his loved ones and family members. Just saddens me that it took this long to accomplish.

I am very happy that Bowe Bergdahl has been released. I agree with you, I wish we had gone in and gotten him out years and years ago and then there would not have been any “trade”. I can’t imagine what he has been through and it breaks my heart to even think about it also the fact that he may not even speak English anymore. I can’t wait until he is back home and reunited with his family. They are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I am really happy about this too. Yay! I hope that he and his family can get some peace from all of the trauma soon.
So glad he has been released! Let us hope that media leaves him alone as he re-unites with his family, he (and they) have been through enough! According to the press, he spoke to his dad on the phone, but it wasn’t clear if he could still speak English.
Congrats winners! Great for the POW release and of course much controversy about the release of their 5 prisoners. There will be a great adjustment to life; five years is way too long. Hopefully more can be released.
I hope that you get everything done before your vacation!! It is time for you to get to have fun! I am so glad that Bowe Berfgahl is released and that his parents get to have his son home! What wonderful parents he has. I think the government should have done something sooner too!!

I too am glad that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl has finally been released and wish it hadn’t taken the government so long. The trauma of such a long captivity will not be forgotten by him or his family.
