Jung Blueberry Bush Update!

Blueberry Bush

A few months ago I wrote a post that was sponsored by Jung who sells thousands of different gardening supplies, plants and seeds. You can read my review and my tips on how you can plant your very own blueberry bush to refresh your memory.

Today I wanted to update you all on how well our blueberry bush from Jung is now doing. Frankly, it is doing a lot better than I thought it would 2 months later! Seriously, we are super excited that it is doing so well!

It has been 2 months since we planted the blueberry bush that they sent us for the review and just recently we had flowers which then turn into unripe blueberries. In just a few short weeks, they will ripen and we will finally be able to taste them!

Blueberry Bush from Jung

This year we will probably only get a few blueberries since it is a young bush but next year and ever year after that…we should see a nice increase in our blueberry crop.

Please ignore the “weeds” you see around our bush as they will be gone in a few short days. We have had a LOT of rain the past 3 weeks so our “weeds” got a little out of control. If you look closely at the second photo you will see several unripe blueberries that are just calling my name! I am looking forward to picking them once they ripen! Yay!

I think it is great that your blueberry bush is already producing berries. This must be so exciting for you and I am glad that you posted this follow-up.

How wonderful! You must know how much blueberries cost at the store. It will be awesome that you are going to have your own Blueberries from this bush! I think it is awesome.

Ladies, I highly recommend it! You only need a small space to put the bush! It was very easy to plant, a small hole, plant it, water it and prune it. Then it takes off!

So exciting! Like I said on your original post I never thought you could plant your own blueberries so I am super interested in how this turns out. You almost have me getting my own bush!

Wow that is amazing in only two months to have such a nice beautiful bush. Now I want one I love blueberries and would love to actually grow my own thanks for sharing. Oh and didn’t even notice the weeds we have them here too so I guess I am just used to seeing them.

Lovely! I was hoping you’d post a follow-up. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your berries; as you said, next year will be even better, but it’s great that you’ll get a taste this year.

That’s great and you save money too since blueberries are expensive. I will always remember how my sister and I loved to pull my Grandma’s garden weeds as kids because she would pay us a whole 10 cents an hour, lol. Thanks for sharing your growing blueberry crop.

Backyard blueberry bushes are great! We have 6 that we planted about 15 years ago and get gallons of blueberries every summer. I dry them in our food dehydrator and freeze them. Birds can be a problem but we finally put up a wire cage around them after they got so big the bird netting didn’t fit. An inflatable snake also helps.
