It’s Fair Time

June is a fun time where I live. It is county fair time and we are lucky to have 2 fairs in our area – the main one and a secondary one in a smaller town that was held a few weeks ago. I enjoy going to the fair and we go at least one night, sometimes even more. A few years ago, I think we went every night but one. LOL I used to love to ride the rides when I was younger but I don’t get into that too much any more. There are so many cool rides now, but my favorite used to be the teacups and that giant flat circle one that you stand up on and it spins you almost vertically. My other favorite ride is one that is not at the fair, but at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and it is a giant swing in the shape of a boat. I love that ride! Wish they had that at the fair!

We also have concerts to listen to that are fee with admission and I enjoy going to those. My son is working security at the fair this year so he will not be able to enjoy any of the rides this year. But we still have several other huge fairs that happen right around us this year so I am sure he will get his fun at one of those. I have to get to at least one of them so I can get my corn dog fix! We all know the best part about the fair is the food! 🙂
