Endless Love Movie Viewing Party – Great Fun!

endless love party packSpending time with my very best girlfriends is something I try to do each and every month. Matter of fact, most of my girlfriends have been longtime friends of mine since we were young kids. I treasure those relationships and we always have a good time together.

Universal Home Entertainment’s release of Endless Love on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD May 27th, 2014 is something I have been looking forward to and Fox Home Entertainment sent me an Endless Love movie viewing pack so I could have an in-home party with some of my very best girlfriends!

My party pack included: Endless Love DVD, Endless Love CD, numerous bottles of nail polish, little hair clip flowers and a Gift Card so I could pick up some food and beverages for our little get together.

We decided to send all of the “guys” out to see a movie so that we could have some alone girl time. We had all kinds of great food from hamburgers, hot dogs, broccoli salad, potato salad, macaroni salad and of course…beverages too!

Movie Synopsis: When beautiful Jade (Gabriella Wilde) meets charismatic David (Alex Pettyfer), her sheltered world of privilege is turned upside down as the pair’s instant desire sparks a reckless summer love affair. While Jade leaves behind her inhibitions and innocence as she falls for David, he works to prove himself worth of her love. But when David’s mysterious past and Jade’s overprotective father threatens to tear them apart, their romance will be put to the ultimate test.

My Thoughts: The movie is rated PG-13 so if you have any teen girls in the house who are mature enough, they could certainly watch this movie with you. I invited over 6 adult girlfriends and after eating…we all sat down to watch the movie together.

This movie is your typical “chic flick” and “romance” type of movie. Usually I avoid romance movies as they are not my cup of tea. However, I was very interested in seeing this movie as it reminded me of one that my BFF went and saw in a movie theater when we were 17 years old. Plus, it was a good reason for all of us to get together for a good time.

One of the things I really love about this movie is that the actress & actor are a good fit for one another. They really “meshed” together well and you really thought they were lovers in real life. The story line was well-written with all kinds of twist and turns. I like that they threw in some mystery to the story line with David’s mysterious past. I won’t tell you what that is about because that would spoil the movie.

Overall, we all really enjoyed the move and it is a great movie to watch if you love romance stories with a little mystery & intrigue.

After the movie was over…we gave ourselves some mini facials, pedicures and then enjoyed a few cocktail drinks to close out our evening. It was fun spending some time with my girlfriends!
