Computer and Travel Bags from Pahmer

pahmer bag 2A few months ago my husband made a huge career move. He had been working with a company for over 30 years and had went as far as he could go with them. After some thought, he decided to make a big career move and recently started working for a new company that is based out of Boston. He loves his new job but that also means he must commute from Harrisburg (PA) up to Boston (MA) several times every year.

We went on the hunt for a new computer travel bag and stumbled upon Pahmer. One of the things we love about this company is the fact that their bags are “classic” styled…can be used by either a male or female business professional or student.

When you shop at Pahmer you will find messenger bags, computer bags, camera bags, travel bags and some great accessories to go along with them.

The company sent my hubby the Computer/Tablet Bag in the Lorne style to review for all of you. This bag is perfectly sized to hold your tablet or iPad and when he travels…the iPad goes along with him. One of the things he loves about the bag is that he can carry it via the convenient handle or sling it over his shoulder via the padded shoulder strap (removable). Perfect for when he is running through the airport.

The entire bag is padded and has some fantastic organizational features. Plus, it is super lightweight weighing only 1 lb. 5 oz. when empty. Even when you load it up with your gear, the bag still isn’t very heavy at all.

You open up the bag via the front flap entry and immediately see 2 flap pockets and a small zipper closure compartment to hold all of your business supplies. Inside the main compartment you will find 3 front wall slot-style pockets, the main compartment to hold your tablet and then a padded back wall compartment to hold additional supplies & accessories. On the back outside of the bag is another reach-in pocket which is great for holding your passport, tickets and other items that you need to grab quickly.

This bag is extremely well-made and they really thought of everything! All of the hardware (buckles, clips, zippers, etc. are top-quality and not cheesy things that will break. The metal hardware has a “brushed” texture to it and he really likes that it isn’t shiny like a bathroom faucet! LOL

A few more things he loves about this bag is the flat bottom. He can sit it on the hotel desk or airplane table and the bag doesn’t fall over. In addition, he attached the bag to the top of his rolling luggage & it stays put.

Overall, he is super impressed with this tablet bag! He has been showing it off to everyone in the office & is looking forward to taking it on his next trip up to Boston.

    I also like the Forest Hill X-Large 17″ Computer Bag. My guy’s laptop is 17″ and it is pretty much impossible to find a bag large enough for it! The Kingsway Large 15″ Computer Bag would also be great, as the other laptop we share is 15″.
